Assisted Fertility Program

Fertility Preservation

Fertility preservation is an option for women who are not ready to start a family yet and want to preserve their egg quality in the event they decide to start a family in the future. Fertility preservation may be a personal choice due to delayed family building or it may be recommended before starting chemotherapy treatment.

We are proud partners with the Livestrong fertility discount program for cancer patients and provide reduced costs for those who desire fertility preservation before beginning cancer treatment.

The process of fertility preservation is similar to the In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) process. The woman takes fertility injections to stimulate her ovaries to produce multiple eggs. She is then monitored by ultrasound and blood work until the follicles reach the correct size indicating maturity. Then the woman is given an injection which causes her eggs to mature. The egg retrieval procedure is then scheduled 35 hours later. Once the eggs are frozen, they are typically transferred to a long-term storage facility until you are ready to use them.

YOUR FUTURE IS SECURED.

After IVF treatment it is common to have a surplus of embryos that need to be cryopreserved for future use. Often the need for storage exceeds the 3-6 months IVF clinics prefer, in which case embryos are transferred to ReproTech for long-term storage. At that time, ReproTech becomes responsible for the safety and care of your embryos.

For year, ReproTech has been the partner IVF clinics trust for long-term cryostorage. Over 30 years ago, ReproTech started the long-term human reproductive cryostorage niche, and remains the leader in cryostorage and shipping as well as storage safety and accurracy.

ReproTech is the only company in the nation focused exclusively on long-term reproductive tissue storage. It’s all we do, and all we’ve ever done. Visit reprotech.com for more information.
